- 200G Mergulo Original Plant-Based Butter
- 500 G Quaker Rolled Oats Porridge
- 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- NaN Bute Island Cheddar Flavour Block
- - McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper MCG-24431
- 2 Kg Ktc Superfine Gram Flour 2kg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of gram flour and 2 cups of oats.
- 3. Add 1/4 teaspoon of nutritional yeast and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the dry mixture for a hint of spice.
- 4. Grate 1/2 pound of cheddar cheese and mix it into the bowl until evenly distributed.
- 5. Melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter and pour it into the mixture. Stir well until the dough comes together.
- 6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
- 7. Flatten each ball gently with the tines of a fork to create a crisp shape.
- 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the crisps sit inside for an additional 10 minutes to finish cooking.
- 9. Remove from the oven and allow the crisps to cool slightly before serving.
