- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
- 60G Terre Exotique Black Sao Tome Pepper, 60G
- 4 Per Pack Albert Bartlett Butter Gold Bakers
- - Petti Delicato Extra Fine Passata
- 500G Aunt Bessie'S Maple & Thyme Glazed Carrots
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 lb lean ground beef, 4 peeled and sliced carrots, 1 diced onion, 4 peeled and thinly sliced potatoes, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- 3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- 4. Pour 1 cup of passata evenly over the top of the mixture.
- 5. Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the potatoes and carrots are tender and the beef is fully cooked.
- 6. Remove the cover during the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly, if desired.
- 7. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
