  • 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
  • 1 Piece White Baguette French Baguette
  • 250 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
  • - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
  • 25G Fillippone Italian Organic Bay Leaves, 25G

Instructions

  1. 1. Trim all visible fat from the lean beef to prepare it for cooking.
  2. 2. Place the beef in a slow cooker.
  3. 3. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, 3 whole peppercorns, and 1 bay leaf.
  4. 4. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef in the slow cooker. Add enough water to almost cover the beef.
  5. 5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  6. 6. Remove the beef from the broth and set the broth aside. Shred the beef using two forks.
