- 75G Terre Exotique Three Peppercorns, 75G
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- 1 Piece White Baguette French Baguette
- 250 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
- - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
- 25G Fillippone Italian Organic Bay Leaves, 25G
Instructions
- 1. Trim all visible fat from the lean beef to prepare it for cooking.
- 2. Place the beef in a slow cooker.
- 3. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, 3 whole peppercorns, and 1 bay leaf.
- 4. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef in the slow cooker. Add enough water to almost cover the beef.
- 5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
- 6. Remove the beef from the broth and set the broth aside. Shred the beef using two forks.
- 7. Serve the shredded beef on hard rolls or crusty bread. Use the reserved broth as a dipping sauce for the sandwiches.
