Ingredients
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 100G Maison Bremond Toasted Almonds With Goats Cheese, 100G
- 10 Kg Salaam Basmati Rice 10kg
- - Potts Vegetable Stock Can
- - Mill & Mortar Finishing Salt Flakes Gift Set
Instructions
- 1. Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until tender but not browned, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of basmati rice and sauté for 2 minutes to lightly toast the rice.
- 4. Add 1 1/2 cups of vegetable stock and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 5. Remove the skillet from heat, cover, and let it stand for 10 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the liquid.
- 6. Gently stir in 1/2 cup of toasted almonds and 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
- 7. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve warm.
