  • - Fresh British Roasting Chicken
  • 300G Birds Eye Chicken Shop Buttermilk Chicken Tenders
  • 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
  • 100G Heera Black Pepper Coarse 100g
  • - Caputo Gluten Free Flour
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Thinly cut the cockerel meat into fillets, butterfly them, and gently open them up without tearing holes.
  2. 2. Sprinkle the chicken fillets all over with 1 pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
  3. 3. Place 8 basil leaves on top of the chicken, and sandwich in 4 slices of cheese, trimming the cheese so it doesn't stick out of the edges.
  4. 4. Fold each chicken fillet in half to enclose the filling, and coat them evenly with 1 cup of flour.
  5. 5. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Fry the chicken pieces in the pan until golden brown on one side, then flip them over.
  7. 7. Cover the pan with a lid and continue frying until the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove the lid to let any excess moisture evaporate, and fry until the chicken is crispy.
  9. 9. Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful, protein-packed dinner.
