About this recipe

Ingredients

  • - Prime British Sirloin Steak
  • 250 G Veenas Fresh Garlic
  • 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
  • 80 Ml Ladolea Set Of 2 Lemon & Oregano Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 80Ml
  • 395G D'Aucy Chopped Spinach

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Score both sides of the steak by making shallow cuts in a diamond pattern. Pound the steak with a meat mallet until it flattens to a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix together 20 oz of chopped spinach and 2 tsp of nutritional yeast until well combined.
  4. 4. Spread the spinach and nutritional yeast mixture evenly over the flattened steak.
  5. 5. Sprinkle 2 tsp of minced garlic evenly over the spinach and nutritional yeast layer.
  6. 6. Roll the steak tightly from one short side to the other, jelly roll style. Secure the roll with toothpicks spaced about 1 inch apart.
  7. 7. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled steak into 8 one-inch thick slices.
  8. 8. Place the slices cut-side up on a cookie sheet coated with olive oil.
  9. 9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the steak reaches medium doneness.
  10. 10. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve warm.
