Grilled Citrus Soy Salmon recipe

About this recipe

A flavorful pescatarian dinner featuring marinated salmon infused with orange juice, soy sauce, and fresh herbs, grilled to perfection for a light yet satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 240G Salmon Fillets With Lemon & Pepper Butter
  • 850 Ml Tropicana Long Life Pure Original Orange Fruit Juice With Bits
  • 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • - Sussex Wholefoods Organic Dried Basil
  • 250 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Thaw the salmon fillets if frozen and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup orange juice, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 minced clove of garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon dried basil to create the marinade.
  3. 3. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let the salmon marinate at room temperature for 2 hours, turning the fillets occasionally.
  4. 4. Preheat a grill to medium heat and lightly grease the grates or use a well-greased wire grill basket.
  5. 5. Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for basting. Grill the salmon fillets over medium heat for about 8 minutes or until they are light brown on one side.
  6. 6. Baste the salmon with the reserved marinade, then turn the fillets and grill for an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  7. 7. Transfer the grilled salmon to a serving platter. Reheat the remaining marinade to a boil in a small saucepan and drizzle it over the salmon before serving.
