- 114G Thai Taste Basil Leaves, 114G
- 1 kg Monterey Jack Cheese Slices, British Cheese, 1Kg
- - Fresh British Roasting Chicken
- 300G Birds Eye Chicken Shop Buttermilk Chicken Tenders
- 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
- 100G Heera Black Pepper Coarse 100g
- - Caputo Gluten Free Flour
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. Thinly cut the cockerel meat into fillets, butterfly them, and gently open them up without tearing holes.
- 2. Sprinkle the chicken fillets all over with 1 pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
- 3. Place 8 basil leaves on top of the chicken, and sandwich in 4 slices of cheese, trimming the cheese so it doesn't stick out of the edges.
- 4. Fold each chicken fillet in half to enclose the filling, and coat them evenly with 1 cup of flour.
- 5. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 6. Fry the chicken pieces in the pan until golden brown on one side, then flip them over.
- 7. Cover the pan with a lid and continue frying until the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 8. Remove the lid to let any excess moisture evaporate, and fry until the chicken is crispy.
- 9. Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful, protein-packed dinner.
