Ingredients
- - Doves Farm Organic Chickpea Flour
- - Filippo Berio Garlic Flavoured Olive Oil
- 5 Kg Caputo Integrale Whole Wheat Flour, 5Kg
- 60G Mill & Mortar Organic Salt Of Hearts, 60G
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, sift together 1 cup chickpea flour, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- 2. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and gradually mix in 2/3 cup water, stirring until a dough forms.
- 3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 3 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- 4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
- 5. Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a circle about 6 to 7 inches in diameter. Keep the rolled-out dough covered with a clean kitchen towel to prevent drying.
- 6. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Place one rolled-out dough circle onto the skillet and cook for 1 minute on one side.
- 7. Flip the chapati and cook for another minute on the other side until lightly browned and puffed.
- 8. Repeat with the remaining dough circles, stacking the cooked chapatis and covering them with a towel to keep warm.
- 9. Serve the chapatis immediately with your favorite vegetarian dishes.
