  • - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
  • 2.5 Kg Casa Marrazzo Organic Chopped Tomatoes, 2.5Kg
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
  • - Schwartz Paprika
  • - McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper MCG-24431
  • 25G Fillippone Italian Organic Bay Leaves, 25G
  • - Chilli Powder Rajah

Instructions

  1. 1. Skip this step as there is no frozen corn to defrost.
  2. 2. Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 1 diced green bell pepper, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 7-8 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in 2 cups of diced tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1/8 teaspoon of paprika, 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and 1 bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. 5. Skip this step as there is no corn to add. Continue cooking the chili mixture as is.
  6. 6. Remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning with additional chili powder if a spicier flavor is desired.
  7. 7. Serve the chili hot, garnished with your choice of toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
