Ingredients
- - PLJ Lemon Juice Original Sharp 500ml
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- - Schwartz Coriander Leaf Jar
- - Biona Organic Whole Cherry Tomatoes
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
Instructions
- 1. Wash the Biona Organic Whole Cherry Tomatoes thoroughly and dice them into small, even pieces. Place the diced tomatoes in a mixing bowl.
- 2. Peel and finely chop the Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store. Add the chopped onions to the bowl with the tomatoes.
- 3. Add a generous pinch of Schwartz Coriander Leaf Jar to the bowl. If you prefer a stronger coriander flavor, you can adjust the amount to taste.
- 4. Sprinkle a small amount of Pepper Black Ground BWFO into the mixture for seasoning. Start with a pinch and adjust based on your spice preference.
- 5. Add a splash of PLJ Lemon Juice Original Sharp 500ml to the bowl. This will provide the tangy citrus flavor essential to Pico de Gallo. Adjust the amount to taste, starting with about 1-2 teaspoons.
- 6. Gently mix all the ingredients together until they are evenly combined. Be careful not to mash the tomatoes, as Pico de Gallo should have a chunky texture.
- 7. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more lemon juice, pepper, or coriander to suit your preference.
- 8. Let the Pico de Gallo sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve fresh as a dip with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, grilled meats, or other dishes.
