Ingredients
- - The Tofoo Co. Naked Tofu
- 1 Kg Haruka Sushi Rice, 1Kg
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml
Instructions
- 1. Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain well.
- 2. In a medium pot, combine the rinsed rice with 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
- 3. While the rice is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- 4. Add 1 cup of diced firm tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu and set aside.
- 5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add 1 cup of mixed vegetables (such as carrots, peas, and bell peppers) and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- 6. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger to the skillet, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 7. Return the cooked tofu to the skillet, then add 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir well to combine.
- 8. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix thoroughly with the tofu and vegetables. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
- 9. Garnish with 1 chopped green onion and 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds before serving.
