Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the chicken breasts and spring onions, then set them aside.
- 2. Toast a small handful of toasted white sesame seeds in a dry pan over low heat until they are golden and fragrant. Remove from the pan and set aside for garnishing later.
- 3. Use ground ginger to extract about 2 tablespoons of ginger juice.
- 4. In a large bowl, combine the chopped chicken, ginger juice, one egg, a pinch of black pepper, and a small amount of salt. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 5. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- 6. Heat a little sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the meatballs and cook until they are golden brown on all sides.
- 7. In a small bowl, mix together 3 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of pure sesame oil, and a pinch of ground ginger. Adjust seasoning with a small amount of salt and black pepper, if needed.
- 8. Once the meatballs are browned, pour the sauce mixture over them in the pan. Stir to coat the meatballs evenly and continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 9. Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with the toasted sesame seeds and some freshly chopped spring onions.
