  • - Yutaka White Miso Paste
  • 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
  • - Potts Beef Stock Can
  • 270G Akagi Dried Udon Noodles, 270G
  • - Chilli Powder Rajah
  • 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil
  • - Amoy Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the beef: Thinly slice the Beef Topside Steak into bite-sized strips. Set aside.
  2. 2. Make the marinade: In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Yutaka White Miso Paste, 1 tablespoon of Amoy Dark Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon of Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil, 1 teaspoon of Rowse Clear Honey, and 1 teaspoon of Chilli Powder Rajah. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Prepare the aromatics: Finely chop the Spring Onions, separating the white and green parts. Mince 2 cloves of Jumbo Garlic (or use 1 tablespoon of Sapna Ginger Garlic Paste as a substitute). Set aside.
  4. 4. Heat the oil: In a large frying pan or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of Crisp N Dry Oil over medium-high heat.
  5. 5. Cook the beef: Add the marinated beef to the hot pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  6. 6. Make the broth: In the same pan, add the white parts of the Spring Onions and the minced garlic (or Sapna Ginger Garlic Paste). Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Add 500ml of Potts Beef Stock Can, 1 tablespoon of Amoy Dark Soy Sauce, and 1 tablespoon of Yutaka White Miso Paste. Stir well to combine and bring the broth to a gentle simmer.
  7. 7. Cook the noodles: While the broth is simmering, cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  8. 8. Assemble the dish: Divide the cooked udon noodles into serving bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles. Top with the cooked beef strips.
  9. 9. Garnish: Sprinkle Schwartz Sesame Seeds and the green parts of the Spring Onions over the top for garnish.
  10. 10. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy your Miso Udon Noodles with Chili Beef!
