Ingredients
- - Jalpur Carom Seeds Ajwain
- 1 Unit Organic Cabbage White 1 Unit
- 1 Piece Fresh Thai Green Unripe Papaya
- 500 G Fine Beans 500g
- Single Capsicum/Green Pepper (Single)
- - Doves Farm Organic Chickpea Flour
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 100 G Saras Turmeric Haldi Powder
- 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash and prepare all vegetables: peel and julienne the green unripe papaya, finely shred the cabbage, slice the fine beans into small pieces, and dice the green pepper into bite-sized chunks.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 200g of chickpea flour with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of carom seeds, 1 teaspoon of light brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add water to create a smooth batter with a pancake-like consistency.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- 4. Add the prepared vegetables (julienned papaya, shredded cabbage, sliced fine beans, and diced green pepper) to the batter and mix well to ensure all vegetables are evenly coated.
- 5. Using a ladle, pour a portion of the vegetable-batter mixture into the hot pan, spreading it out slightly to form a small pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. Repeat with the remaining mixture, adding more oil as needed.
- 6. Once all the vegetable pancakes are cooked, serve them hot with a side of carrot pickle for a tangy and flavorful accompaniment.
