Ingredients
- 250 G Bwfo Ginger Root Dried Cut
- Bunch Spring Onion (Bunch)
- - Ktc Minced Garlic Paste
- 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil
- - Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce
- 500 Ml Amoy Pure Sesame Oil
- 1Pc White Cabbage 1pc
- 30G Dried Sliced Shiitake Mushrooms, 30G
- 4 Pack Fresh Carrots - Pack Of 4
- 500 G Vietnamese Spring Roll Wrappers 500G
- - Dark Soy Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the vegetables: Finely chop the white cabbage and fresh carrots. Rehydrate the dried sliced shiitake mushrooms by soaking them in warm water for 15-20 minutes, then drain and chop them into small pieces.
- 2. Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms. Add 1 teaspoon of Bwfo Ginger Root Dried Cut and 1 teaspoon of Ktc Minced Garlic Paste. Mix well to evenly distribute the flavors.
- 3. Season the filling: Add 1 tablespoon of Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce and 1 teaspoon of Amoy Pure Sesame Oil to the vegetable mixture. Stir thoroughly to ensure the filling is well-seasoned.
- 4. Prepare the gyoza wrappers: Lay out the gyoza wrappers (ensure they are included in your ingredient list). Place a small spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center of each wrapper.
- 5. Seal the gyoza: Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges together to seal. Create pleats along the edge for a traditional look.
- 6. Cook the gyoza: Heat 1 tablespoon of Crisp N Dry Oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the gyoza in the pan, flat side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- 7. Steam the gyoza: Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover with a lid. Let the gyoza steam for 5-6 minutes or until the wrappers are fully cooked and the water has evaporated.
- 8. Prepare the dipping sauce: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce with 1 teaspoon of Amoy Pure Sesame Oil. Adjust the proportions to taste.
- 9. Serve: Arrange the cooked gyoza on a plate and serve with the prepared dipping sauce.
