Ingredients
- 100G Agar Agar, 100G
- 400 Ml Ktc Coconut Milk 400Ml
- 6 Per Pack Wholegood Organic Kiwi Fruit
- 500 G The Fruit And Veg Man Strawberries Spanish (Punnet - 500g)
- 1 Kg White Granulated Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries and kiwi thoroughly. Remove the stems from the strawberries and peel the kiwi. Slice both fruits into bite-sized pieces and set them aside for later use.
- 2. In a medium saucepan, combine 500ml of water and 10g of agar agar powder. Stir well to dissolve the agar agar completely.
- 3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the agar agar is fully dissolved.
- 4. Add 200ml of coconut milk to the saucepan and stir to combine. Gradually add 50g of white granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- 5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly for 5-7 minutes, but do not allow it to set.
- 6. Pour the agar-coconut milk mixture into a shallow dish or individual molds. Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator to set completely (approximately 1-2 hours).
- 7. Once the agar mixture has set, remove it from the refrigerator. If using a shallow dish, cut the set agar into cubes or desired shapes.
- 8. Arrange the sliced strawberries and kiwi on top of the set agar or alongside it as a garnish. Serve chilled and enjoy your Japanese Dessert Agar Milk Fruit!
