Ingredients
- 1 Piece Buy Fresh Courgettes Zucchini Online | Alli Bhavan 750g
- - Cawston Press Pressed Tomato Juice
- - Nearly Naked Veg Basil 100g
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- 500 G Marco Alimentari Italian Ricotta Cheese
- 4 Pack Fresh Carrots - Pack Of 4
- - Schwartz Ground Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 2. Wash and peel the fresh carrots and sweet potatoes. Slice the carrots, sweet potatoes, and courgettes (zucchini) into thin, even slices.
- 3. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of Olive Oil – Organic. Sauté the sliced carrots, sweet potatoes, and courgettes until they are slightly tender. Season with a pinch of Pepper Black Ground BWFO and set aside.
- 4. In a separate saucepan, prepare the tomato-based sauce. Pour the Cawston Press Pressed Tomato Juice into the pan and simmer over low heat. Add a pinch of Schwartz Ground Nutmeg and a few drops of Solgar Wild Oregano Oil Softgels (pierce the softgel to extract the oil). Stir well and let the sauce thicken slightly.
- 5. In a mixing bowl, combine the Marco Alimentari Italian Ricotta Cheese with a small amount of Schwartz Ground Nutmeg for added flavor. Mix until smooth.
- 6. Grate the Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Cheese and set it aside for layering.
- 7. Lightly grease a baking dish with Crisp N Dry Oil. Begin assembling the lasagna by spreading a thin layer of the tomato-based sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- 8. Add a layer of sautéed vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, and courgettes) on top of the sauce.
- 9. Spread a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture over the vegetables, followed by a sprinkle of grated cheddar cheese.
- 10. Repeat the layering process (sauce, vegetables, ricotta, cheddar) until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a generous layer of grated cheddar cheese on top.
- 11. Tear the Nearly Naked Veg Basil leaves into smaller pieces and sprinkle them over the top layer of cheese for added flavor.
- 12. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- 13. Once baked, remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- 14. Serve warm with a side of Ashoka Carrot Pickle for an optional tangy accompaniment.
