Ingredients

  • - Jus Rol Puff Pastry Squares-1x5.2kg
  • 80 G Properoni Classic Sliced Pepperoni 2 X 80g
  • 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
  • 1 Unit Galbani Mozzarella Ball 125g
  • 6 Each Golden Yolk Eggs 6 Pack

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or Gas Mark 6, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to maintain its smoothness.
  3. 3. Spread the tomato pizza sauce evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1cm border around the edges to prevent leaking.
  4. 4. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce, ensuring even coverage.
  5. 5. Arrange the pepperoni slices across the cheese layer, spacing them evenly for balanced flavor in each pinwheel.
  6. 6. Carefully roll the pastry into a tight log, starting from one of the longer edges, ensuring the filling stays intact as you roll.
  7. 7. Slice the rolled log into 12 equal pieces about 2cm thick each, using a sharp knife for clean cuts.
  8. 8. Place the pinwheels flat on the prepared baking tray, spacing them apart to allow room for expansion during baking.
  9. 9. Brush the tops of the pinwheels lightly with the beaten egg to achieve a golden, crispy finish.
  10. 10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown, and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. 11. Remove from the oven and let the pinwheels cool for 5 minutes on the tray before serving warm.
