- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
- 180G Ubidea Piparras Navarra Chilli Peppers, 180G
- 500G Garofalo Conchiglie Pasta
- - Nearly Naked Veg Basil 100g
- 50G Niharti Cinnamon Taj-Dalchini Powder 50g
- - Bart Allspice Ground 40g
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 10G Top-Op Bay Leaves 10g
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine 500 g hamburger with a pinch of salt and pepper. Form into small meatballs and set aside. Optionally, brown the meatballs in a skillet for added flavor.
- 2. In a large pot, combine 1 diced onion, 2 diced carrots, 2 diced celery sticks, 1 diced green pepper, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 cans of tomato sauce, 1 can of tomato paste, 1 tbsp basil, 1 tsp rosemary, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 bay leaves, and 8 chopped chili peppers.
- 3. Stir the mixture well and bring it to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook on low heat for at least 8 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 4. After 8 hours, add the prepared meatballs to the sauce. Continue cooking for another 30-40 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked through.
- 5. Serve the sauce and meatballs over freshly cooked pasta of your choice. Garnish with additional basil if desired.
