Ingredients
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 400G Casa Marrazzo Peeled Organic Tomatoes, 400G
- 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- 1 Kg Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar
- - Tata Salt
- - Schwartz Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat in a large saucepan.
- 2. Add 1 cup of finely chopped onion, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1/2 cup of chopped parsley. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3. In a blender, combine 2 large tomatoes and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until smooth.
- 4. Pour the blended tomatoes into the saucepan with the onion mixture. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Add 1 can of tomato paste, 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley, 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir thoroughly.
- 6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
- 7. Serve the sauce hot over your favorite halal-certified spaghetti or pasta, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
