- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- - De Cecco Pasta Penne Rigate
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- Bunch Spring Onion (Bunch)
- - Schwartz Garlic Salt
Instructions
- 1. In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of butter over medium heat.
- 2. Stir in 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1/4 cup of sliced green onion, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Let it simmer for 2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- 3. Add 2 cups of seitan to the saucepan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the seitan is heated through and slightly browned.
- 4. Meanwhile, cook 12 oz of pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve a small amount of the cooking water.
- 5. Toss the cooked pasta with the seitan and herb-butter sauce, adding a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed to coat evenly.
- 6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
