Ingredients

  • - Cofresh Whole Green Chilli 350g
  • 100G Greenfields Brown Mustard Seeds, 100G
  • - Fresh Fenugreek/Methi Leaves
  • 450G Onken Natural Set Yogurt
  • 100 G Saras Turmeric Haldi Powder
  • 1 L Ktc Sunflower Oil
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
  • 100G Natco Kashmiri Chilli Powder, 100G
  • NaN Aashirvaad Atta Chapatti Flour Whole Wheat

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of whole wheat flour.
  2. 2. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder, 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves, 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds, and 1 teaspoon salt.
  3. 3. Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon finely chopped green chilli to the mixture.
  4. 4. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the dry ingredients.
  5. 5. Gradually add water to the mixture, kneading it into a soft, pliable dough.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each one into a flat round shape using a rolling pin.
  7. 7. In a small pan, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds. Allow them to crackle, then set the infused oil aside.
  8. 8. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and add a few drops of cooking oil.
  9. 9. Place the rolled theplas on the pan and cook until brown spots appear, flipping to cook both sides evenly. Press gently with a spatula for even cooking.
