  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 65G Natoora Root Ginger
  • 1 Unit Organic Cabbage White 1 Unit
  • 100G Fresh Spices Fresh Small Green Chillies
  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
  • 1.5 Kg Matthews Cotswold Organic Plain Flour, 1.5Kg
  • - Marnoto Hand Harvest Fine Sea Salt
  • 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml
  • 250 Ml Ktc Jasmin Oil Cooking Oil 250Ml

Instructions

  1. 1. Start by preparing the dough. In a large bowl, take 500g of organic plain flour and a pinch of fine sea salt. Gradually add water to form a smooth and flexible dough. Cover and set it aside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. For the filling, finely mince 500g of chicken breast and place it in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Chop 1 whole onion, a handful of garlic, and a thumb-sized piece of root ginger, and add them to the bowl with the chicken.
  4. 4. Also, finely chop a small cabbage (around 500g to 800g), one or two green chillies, and 250g of spring onion. Add these to the chicken mixture.
  5. 5. Add a tablespoon of dark soy sauce, salt according to your taste, and mix all the ingredients well until evenly combined.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each one into a thin circle of about 3 inches in diameter.
  7. 7. Place a spoonful of chicken-vegetable filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold and pleat the edges to seal the momo. Repeat until the filling and dough are finished.
  8. 8. Prepare a steamer by brushing the rack with a little cooking oil to prevent sticking.
  9. 9. Arrange the momos on the steamer rack, ensuring they do not touch each other, and steam them for about 15-20 minutes or until the momos are cooked through.
  10. 10. Serve hot momos with soy sauce for dipping, and enjoy!
