  • NaN Trs Gram Flour
  • 100G Trs Chilli Powder 100G
  • - Vandevi Asafoetida 50g
  • - Fresh Asian Coriander Bunch

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly and soak them in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain and blend into a coarse paste using a blender.
  2. 2. Grate the zucchini and squeeze out excess moisture using a kitchen towel or your hands. Add the grated zucchini to the lentil paste in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Mix in the plain yogurt, chickpea flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder (if using), asafoetida, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Combine well to form a thick dough-like mixture.
  4. 4. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lightly grease it with olive oil.
  5. 5. Shape the mixture into small, flat patties (approximately 6-8 patties) and place them on the prepared baking tray.
  6. 6. Bake the patties in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and slightly crisp on both sides.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven and let the patties cool slightly. Serve warm with mint chutney or plain yogurt as a dip.
