- NaN Trs Gram Flour
- 100G Trs Chilli Powder 100G
- - Vandevi Asafoetida 50g
- - Fresh Asian Coriander Bunch
- NaN Filippo Berio Classico Pure Olive Oil
- 100 G East End Ground Coriander
- - Tata Salt
- 100 G Trs Ground Cumin Jeera Powder
- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly and soak them in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain and blend into a coarse paste using a blender.
- 2. Grate the zucchini and squeeze out excess moisture using a kitchen towel or your hands. Add the grated zucchini to the lentil paste in a mixing bowl.
- 3. Mix in the plain yogurt, chickpea flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder (if using), asafoetida, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Combine well to form a thick dough-like mixture.
- 4. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lightly grease it with olive oil.
- 5. Shape the mixture into small, flat patties (approximately 6-8 patties) and place them on the prepared baking tray.
- 6. Bake the patties in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and slightly crisp on both sides.
- 7. Remove from the oven and let the patties cool slightly. Serve warm with mint chutney or plain yogurt as a dip.
