Ingredients

  • 850G Alphonso Mango Pulp, 850G
  • 350-450 G Custard Apple - Cherimoya (350-450gm)
  • 1 Bunch Bunch Of Bananas 1kg
  • 95 Ml Dr. Oetker Large Vanilla Extract
  • 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints

Instructions

  1. 1. Pour 1 liter of milk into a saucepan and heat it over medium flame until it begins to simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
  2. 2. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the simmering milk and stir well to infuse the vanilla flavor.
  3. 3. Gradually mix in mango pulp (approximately 200g) into the milk, stirring continuously to ensure it blends smoothly and enhances the tropical flavor of the custard base.
  4. 4. Allow the mixture to cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. 5. While the custard base is cooling, prepare the fruits. Peel and slice the bananas into bite-sized pieces. Scoop out the flesh of the custard apple and remove any seeds. Set the fruits aside.
  6. 6. Once the custard base has cooled, drizzle 2 tablespoons of syrup into the mixture and stir well to add a subtle sweetness and floral note.
  7. 7. In serving bowls, layer the prepared fruits (bananas and custard apple) evenly. Pour the cooled custard mixture over the fruits, ensuring they are fully covered.
  8. 8. Chill the bowls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the custard to set.
  9. 9. Serve the Fruits Custard chilled, garnished with additional fresh fruit slices or a drizzle of lychee syrup for extra flavor, if desired.
