Ingredients
- 200 G Authentic Greek Yogurt
- - Fresh Fenugreek/Methi Leaves
- 120G Alpenzu Clarified Butter, 120G
- NaN Fresh Halal Chicken Breast - Boneless Without Skin
- 100 G Saras Turmeric Haldi Powder
- 1 L Ktc Sunflower Oil
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 190G Natco Garlic & Ginger Paste, 190G
- 100G Natco Kashmiri Chilli Powder, 100G
- 100G East End Garam Masala Powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, garlic & ginger paste, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, methi (fenugreek leaves), and table salt. Ensure the mixture is well combined to create a smooth marinade.
- 3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix thoroughly, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight for better flavor absorption.
- 4. Preheat your grill or oven to a high temperature suitable for grilling.
- 5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece to ensure even cooking.
- 6. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char. Brush the chicken with clarified butter during grilling for added richness and flavor.
- 7. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and transfer the chicken tikka to a serving plate.
- 8. Before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked chicken tikka for a burst of acidity. Optionally, garnish with additional clarified butter cubes for extra richness.
