- 120G Alpenzu Clarified Butter, 120G
- 240 Ml Organic Agave Syrup, 240Ml
- - Jalpur Green Cardamoms Whole
- - Schwartz Saffron Jar
- 1 Kg Caputo Pasticceria 00 Cakes & Pastry Flour, 1Kg
Instructions
- 1. Soak 1 cup of almonds in hot water for 1 hour. Peel and grind them into a fine paste.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of Caputo Pasticceria 00 Cakes & Pastry Flour with the almond paste, a pinch of saffron, and a pinch of green cardamom powder.
- 3. Gradually add 300g of melted clarified butter to the mixture, kneading it into a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- 4. Roll out the dough into thin puris using a rolling pin.
- 5. Heat clarified butter in a pan for deep frying. Fry the puris on medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain them on paper towels.
- 6. In another pan, prepare the sugar syrup by dissolving 1 cup of organic agave syrup in 2 cups of water and simmering until you get a one-string consistency.
- 7. Dip the fried puris in the sugar syrup for a few seconds, ensuring they are well coated.
