Ingredients

  • 100G Fresh Spices Fresh Small Green Chillies
  • 400G Dunns River Red Kidney Beans
  • 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
  • - Asafoetida Bwfo Free Uk Mainland P&P
  • 50G Top-Op Nutmeg Powder 50g

Instructions

  1. 1. Blend 1 can of cooked beans and 3 deseeded green chilies in a blender until smooth.
  2. 2. Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepan and simmer on low heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  3. 3. Add 12 oz of grated plant-based cheese to the saucepan and continue stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is creamy.
  4. 4. Stir in 1/4 tsp of hing (asafoetida) for added flavor and adjust the spice level by adding more green chilies if desired.
  5. 5. Once the dip is hot and well combined, transfer it to a serving bowl or fondue pot to keep warm. Serve immediately with Jain-friendly crackers or bread.
