Ingredients
- 100G Fresh Spices Fresh Small Green Chillies
- 400G Dunns River Red Kidney Beans
- 250G Holland & Barrett Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- - Asafoetida Bwfo Free Uk Mainland P&P
- 50G Top-Op Nutmeg Powder 50g
Instructions
- 1. Blend 1 can of cooked beans and 3 deseeded green chilies in a blender until smooth.
- 2. Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepan and simmer on low heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
- 3. Add 12 oz of grated plant-based cheese to the saucepan and continue stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is creamy.
- 4. Stir in 1/4 tsp of hing (asafoetida) for added flavor and adjust the spice level by adding more green chilies if desired.
- 5. Once the dip is hot and well combined, transfer it to a serving bowl or fondue pot to keep warm. Serve immediately with Jain-friendly crackers or bread.
