Ingredients
- 1.3 Kg Typically Turf & Clover Large Beef Roasting Joint
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 500G White Pearl Italian Pudding Rice 500g
- 200G Bay'S Kitchen Concentrated Beef Stock
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- - Mccormick Cumin Powder
- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
- - Schwartz Paprika
- 50G Niharti Cinnamon Taj-Dalchini Powder 50g
- - Jalpur Curry Powder
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Cut 500 g beef into cubes and set aside.
- 2. Chop 1 onion and mince 2 cloves of garlic.
- 3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes.
- 4. Add the beef cubes to the pan and season with 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp curry powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir well to coat the beef in the spices.
- 5. Chop 1 tomato and add it to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Add 1 cup beef stock to the pan, cover, and simmer on low heat until the beef is tender, about 30-40 minutes.
- 7. While the beef is cooking, prepare 1 1/3 cups white rice according to package instructions.
- 8. Once the beef is tender, adjust seasoning if needed and serve the spiced beef mixture over the cooked white rice.
