Ingredients
- 200G Mergulo Original Plant-Based Butter
- 70G Natco Ground Cumin, 70G
- 115G Love Corn Sea Salt Crunchy Corn
- 100G Halen Mon Umami Sea Salt, 100G
- 40G Terre Exotique "Extra" Turmeric Powder, 40G
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- 2 Kg Ktc Superfine Gram Flour 2kg
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 can of corn, 1 cup of gram flour, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix well to form a thick batter.
- 2. Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, flattening slightly to form patties.
- 4. Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 5. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- 6. Serve the patties hot with a side of mint chutney or a Jain-friendly dipping sauce.
