- 200G Mergulo Original Plant-Based Butter
- NaN Bute Island Cheddar Flavour Block
- 70G Natco Ground Cumin, 70G
- - Jalpur Red Chilli Powder Fine
- - Tata Salt
- - Caputo Semolina Rimacinata Flour
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 450 g grated cheddar, 450 g softened butter, and 1/2 tsp cumin. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- 3. Gradually add 5 1/2 cups of semolina flour, one cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition to form a soft dough.
- 4. Add 1 tsp red chili powder and 1 tsp salt to the dough, mixing until evenly distributed.
- 5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle or shape into thin sticks by hand.
- 6. Pipe or shape the dough into long, thin straws directly onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each.
- 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese sticks are set and lightly golden.
- 8. Allow the cheese sticks to cool slightly on the baking sheets before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature.
