- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the moong dal thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Set it aside to drain.
- 2. Heat sunflower oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and hing, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds until aromatic.
- 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they soften. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and black pepper powder, mixing well.
- 4. Add the rinsed moong dal to the pot and sauté for 2 minutes, ensuring the lentils are coated in the spice mixture.
- 5. Add chopped green bell pepper, cabbage, and green beans to the pot. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the lentils are cooked and the vegetables are tender.
