- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- 350G Meridian Organic Molasses
- 100 Ml Littlepod Pure Vanilla Extract, 100Ml
- 100G Borwicks Bicarbonate Of Soda, 100G
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 60G Mill & Mortar Organic Salt Of Hearts, 60G
- 50 g Dry Ginger | Sukku | Sonth | Chukku | Sonti | Onashunti Powder 50G
- - Natco Ground Cinnamon 100g
- 5 Kg Caputo Integrale Whole Wheat Flour, 5Kg
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2. Mix in 1/2 cup of molasses and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of ground ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- 4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- 5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator until firm enough to handle, about 1-2 hours.
- 6. Roll the dough into logs about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, wrap them in wax paper, and refrigerate overnight.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the chilled dough into thin rounds and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- 8. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
