- - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- - Cawston Press Pressed Tomato Juice
- 295G Heinz Weight Watchers Tomato Soup
- - Tata Salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 medium cabbage (chopped) and boil for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 3. In a large skillet, brown 1 lb halal ground beef with 1 medium onion (chopped) over medium heat. Season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Cook until the beef is fully browned and the onions are softened.
- 4. In a large casserole dish or oblong baking pan, layer the boiled cabbage and the cooked beef mixture alternately.
- 5. In a bowl, mix 1 cup tomato juice and 2 cans (10.5 oz each) of tomato soup until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered ingredients in the casserole dish.
- 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours. Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly.
