Ingredients
- 1 Pc Gopuff Morrisons Cabbage
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 400G Casa Marrazzo Peeled Organic Tomatoes, 400G
- 1 Piece Red Bell Pepper, 1pcs | Gopuff
- 1 stick Organic Celery Stick
- 200 Ml Minus 8 Vinegar Dehydr8, 200Ml
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
- 85G Oriental Hot Mustard Powder, 85G
- 40G Terre Exotique "Extra" Turmeric Powder, 40G
- 100G Terre Exotique Winemaker'S Salt, 100G
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 5 tablespoons dry mustard, 1 tablespoon turmeric, 3 tablespoons salt, and 4 tablespoons sugar.
- 2. Gradually add 2 cups vinegar to the dry mixture, whisking until smooth and well combined.
- 3. Chop 4 cups cabbage, 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, and 1 sweet pepper into small pieces. Dice 1 tablespoon celery finely.
- 4. Add the chopped vegetables to the vinegar mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- 5. Transfer the mixture to a large pot and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, for about 20-25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
- 6. For an optional kick, add finely chopped hot green peppers or a pinch of red pepper flakes during cooking.
- 7. Remove from heat and let the relish cool before serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
