- 1. Boil 4 chicken breasts in a pot of water until fully cooked, about 20 minutes. Remove from the pot, let cool slightly, then shred into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 3. Spread the shredded chicken evenly across the bottom of a baking dish. Season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of creme fraiche, 1 cup of sour cream, and 1 cup of broth reserved from boiling the chicken. Stir until smooth.
- 5. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken in the baking dish.
- 6. Crush 1 sleeve of crackers into small pieces and sprinkle them over the top of the creamy chicken mixture.
- 7. Cut 1 stick of butter into small pieces and distribute them evenly over the cracker topping.
