- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
- 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
- Pack Tray Of 30 Medium Free Range Eggs
- 1 Kg Italian Universal 00 Flour, 1Kg
- - Tata Salt
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel and slice 2 large onions into thick rings, separating each layer.
- 2. In a bowl, soak the onion rings in 250 ml of milk for 30 minutes to soften and enhance flavor.
- 3. In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg until smooth. Place 100 g of flour in another bowl and season with 1 tsp of salt.
- 4. Remove the onion rings from the milk, dip each ring into the beaten egg, and then coat thoroughly with the seasoned flour.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully drop the coated onion rings into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 6. Remove the fried onion rings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 7. Sprinkle with an additional pinch of salt if desired and serve immediately.
