- 500 Ml Tropicana Orange Original 500Ml
- - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
- 220G Daylesford Organic Redcurrant Jelly
- 500 G Brown & Polson Cornflour
- 50G Top-Op Clove Powder 50g
- - Tata Salt
- 50G Top-Op Nutmeg Powder 50g
Instructions
- 1. In a 2-quart saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon ground clove, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of asafoetida (hing).
- 2. Gradually stir in 1 1/2 cups orange juice and 1 teaspoon lemon juice until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
- 3. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Add 1 cup of fresh or canned cranberry puree to the thickened mixture and stir well to combine. Heat for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is heated through.
- 5. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool slightly. Serve warm or chilled as a flavorful accompaniment to your meal.
