Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of mayonnaise, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion. Mix until well blended.
  3. 3. Place 500 g of salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down if applicable.
  4. 4. Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. 5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).
