  • 1 Ltr Ktc Sunflower Oil
  • - Flying Goose Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Kg Dallari 00 Flour, 1Kg

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of pepper, and garlic powder. Add chicken strips, ensuring they're fully submerged, and marinate for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of pepper to create the seasoned coating for the chicken.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or skillet over medium heat until it reaches 175°C (350°F), about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the chicken strips from the buttermilk marinade, letting excess liquid drip off, and dredge them in the seasoned flour mixture, coating each piece thoroughly.
  5. 5. Fry the chicken strips in batches for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Use a digital thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Place cooked strips on a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
  6. 6. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the hot sauce. Toss the fried chicken strips in this buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. 7. Warm the tortilla wraps in a dry skillet over medium heat for 30 seconds on each side, or until pliable.
  8. 8. To assemble the wraps, place a few buffalo chicken strips in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, grated carrots, celery sticks, and a drizzle of ranch dressing.
  9. 9. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.
