  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of Natco Black Mustard Seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
  2. 2. Finely chop 1 onion from the Fresh Onion Pack. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until it turns translucent.
  3. 3. Add 1 cup of mixed veggies (such as carrots, peas, and beans) to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. If mixed veggies are not pre-prepared, chop and prepare them beforehand.
  4. 4. In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add a pinch of Top-Op Table Salt Drums to the water.
  5. 5. Add 150g of Lazzat Foods Roasted Vermicelli to the boiling water. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the vermicelli is soft but not mushy. Drain and set aside.
  6. 6. In the pan with the sautéed veggies, add the cooked vermicelli and gently mix everything together. Adjust salt to taste using Top-Op Table Salt Drums.
  7. 7. Crack 1 egg from the Golden Yolk Eggs 6 Pack into a bowl, whisk it lightly, and pour it into the pan. Stir continuously to scramble the egg and incorporate it evenly into the vermicelli mixture. (Optional: Skip this step if you prefer a vegetarian version.)
  8. 8. Garnish the Vermicelli Upma with a sprinkle of Schwartz Coriander Leaf Jar for added flavor and aroma.
  9. 9. Serve hot and enjoy your Vermicelli Upma as a delicious and wholesome meal!
