  • 1 Piece Cucumber 1Pc
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
  • 100G Sichuan Pepper, 100G
  • - Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Chilli Oil
  • 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and dry 2 medium cucumbers thoroughly. Trim the ends and cut them into thin slices or chunks, as preferred.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Sichuan pepper, 1 tablespoon of chili oil, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of minced ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. Combine the cucumber slices with the Sichuan sauce mixture in a large bowl. Add the sautéed garlic and ginger, and toss well to coat the cucumbers evenly.
  5. 5. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
