  • 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
  • - Forest Whole Foods Organic White Quinoa
  • Bunch Spring Onion (Bunch)
  • 420G Kingsford Corn Starch, 420G
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • 150 Ml Kikkoman Soy Sauce - Pouring Pot, 150Ml
  • 5 l White Wine Vinegar - 5Lt - Marco Alimentari
  • - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
  • - McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper MCG-24431

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small bowl, combine 5 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves and set aside.
  2. 2. Coat 500 g of seitan evenly with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Add the seitan and 3 minced garlic cloves to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the seitan is heated through and slightly browned.
  5. 5. Pour the soy sauce mixture into the skillet with the seitan. Stir-fry for 30 seconds to coat the seitan evenly in the sauce.
  6. 6. Add 3 chopped green onions to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional minute.
  7. 7. Serve the stir-fried seitan immediately over freshly cooked quinoa.
