- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- - Forest Whole Foods Organic White Quinoa
- Bunch Spring Onion (Bunch)
- 420G Kingsford Corn Starch, 420G
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- 150 Ml Kikkoman Soy Sauce - Pouring Pot, 150Ml
- 5 l White Wine Vinegar - 5Lt - Marco Alimentari
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- - McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Pepper MCG-24431
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, combine 5 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves and set aside.
- 2. Coat 500 g of seitan evenly with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 4. Add the seitan and 3 minced garlic cloves to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the seitan is heated through and slightly browned.
- 5. Pour the soy sauce mixture into the skillet with the seitan. Stir-fry for 30 seconds to coat the seitan evenly in the sauce.
- 6. Add 3 chopped green onions to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional minute.
- 7. Serve the stir-fried seitan immediately over freshly cooked quinoa.
