Smoky Southern Fried Stir-Fry recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
  • - Schwartz Coriander Leaf Jar
  • 320G American Ranch Smoky Southern Fried Strips
  • - Ginger - 100g
  • 1 Piece Red Bell Pepper, 1pcs | Gopuff
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 420G Epicure Peach Slices In Syrup
  • 250 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
  • 500 Ml Sesame Oil 10 Litres
  • 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil
  • 500G White Pearl Italian Pudding Rice 500g
  • 455Ml Thai Dragon Extra Hot Sriracha Black Fire Sauce 455ml

Instructions

  1. 1. Whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1/2 tablespoon of red chili paste in a bowl. Add 500 g of chicken strips and let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken along with the marinade. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pan, add 1/2 tablespoon of minced ginger and 1/2 cup of sliced red bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until the bell pepper begins to soften.
  4. 4. Add 1 minced garlic clove and a handful of sliced peach slices to the pan. Stir-fry for 1 minute, then return the cooked chicken to the pan.
  5. 5. Pour in the remaining 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  6. 6. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice. Garnish with 1/4 cup of chopped scallions and 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro before serving.
