Ingredients
- - Chives Bunched (50g)
- 450 G English Cucumber 450-550g
- - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
- - Korean Red Pepper Powder - Gochugaru
- 150 Ml Saitaku Japanese Rice Vinegar
- - Amoy Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 Kg Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the English cucumber thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference. Place the sliced cucumber in a large mixing bowl.
- 2. Finely chop the chives and set them aside for garnish.
- 3. In a small bowl, prepare the dressing by combining 2 tablespoons of Amoy Dark Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon of Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil, 1 teaspoon of Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar, and 1 tablespoon of Schwartz Sesame Seeds. Mix well until the sugar dissolves and the ingredients are fully combined.
- 4. Pour the dressing over the sliced cucumbers in the mixing bowl. Toss gently to ensure the cucumbers are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 5. Transfer the dressed cucumber salad to a serving plate or bowl.
- 6. Garnish the salad with the chopped chives and an additional sprinkle of Schwartz Sesame Seeds for extra flavor and presentation.
- 7. Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish or chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before serving for a cooler, more marinated flavor.
