  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
  • 150 Ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce Dispenser, 150Ml
  • 150 Ml Saitaku Teriyaki Sauce
  • - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
  • 50 g Dry Ginger | Sukku | Sonth | Chukku | Sonti | Onashunti Powder 50G
  • - Tropical Sun Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a deep microwavable bowl or casserole dish, combine 1 cup water, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce.
  2. 2. Place 500 g chicken breast side up in the bowl.
  3. 3. Sprinkle 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, and 1/4 tsp onion powder evenly over the chicken. Let it marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Turn the chicken breast side down before placing the dish in the microwave.
  5. 5. Microwave on High for 7 minutes per pound, approximately 35 minutes for 500 g of chicken. Turn the chicken breast side up halfway through the cooking time.
  6. 6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the bowl. Simmer the remaining liquid in a pan to reduce fat and thicken it into a gravy.
  7. 7. Serve the chicken hot over steamed rice, drizzling the thickened gravy on top.
