Ingredients
- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
- - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
- - Jalpur Crushed Red Chilli Pepper Flakes
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
- 250G Tilda Wild Rice
- 250 Ml Huilerie Beaujolaise Virgin Peanut Oil, 250Ml
- - Chilli Powder Rajah
Instructions
- 1. Heat 3 tablespoons of peanut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 diced onion and 1 teaspoon of crushed red chili flakes to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent and the chili is fragrant.
- 3. Add 1 1/2 pounds of halal ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4. Stir in 1 can of chopped tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- 5. Stir to combine and cook for another 5-7 minutes over medium heat, covered.
- 6. Serve the spiced beef and vegetable mixture over cooked wild rice. Enjoy warm.
