- - Schwartz Flat Leaf Parsley
- 1 Kg Jj Large Prawns (90/120, 700g Net) 1x1kg
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - 60g Red Chili
- - Filippo Berio Garlic Flavoured Olive Oil
- 70G La Chinata Hot Smoked Paprika, 70G
- 250 Ml PLJ Lemon Juice Original Sharp 500ml
- 1 Piece White Baguette French Baguette
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Slice the baguette into 1cm thick rounds, brush both sides with olive oil, and arrange on a baking tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy, then set aside to cool.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped red chilli, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- 3. Add the raw prawns to the skillet, along with the smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
- 4. Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the prawns with lemon juice. Toss gently to coat and sprinkle with the chopped fresh parsley.
- 5. Assemble the crostini by placing a spoonful of the garlic-chilli prawns onto each toasted baguette slice. Serve warm as a flavorful dinner or appetizer.
