  • 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
  • 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
  • - Tata Salt
  • 1 Kg Jersey Royal Potatoes
  • - Heera Chakki Atta
  • 100 G Rajah Garam Masala
  • - Amul Masti Dahi
  • 190G Natco Ginger Paste, 190G
  • - Jalpur Cumin Seeds
  • 100 G East End Ground Coriander
  • - Jalpur Red Chilli Powder Fine
  • 1 Ltr Ktc Sunflower Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, approximately 15 minutes, then peel and cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté cumin seeds until fragrant. Add ginger paste and cook for 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala to the pan, stirring to combine. Incorporate yogurt and mix until a thick gravy forms.
  4. 4. Add the cubed potatoes to the gravy and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with fresh coriander and set aside.
  5. 5. To prepare the lachha parathas, mix whole wheat flour, salt, and warm milk into a dough. Knead for 5 minutes, then let it rest for 20 minutes.
